The Faculty of Engineering Advisory Board convened on 17 September 2025. The Dean, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Topaklı, delivered a presentation on student numbers, faculty profile, ongoing projects, MÜDEK accreditation preparations, laboratory infrastructure, and program preference/placement statistics. Zafer Özcan (Koluman Automotive) proposed strengthening elective courses focused on innovative material technologies, surface protection, and welded constructions. Faculty members voiced views on expanding industry partnerships and establishing shared workspaces, and shared updates on software/digitalization, sustainability, lean manufacturing, and Industry 4.0. Ali Eroğlu, an undergraduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, expressed satisfaction with the research infrastructure and project support opportunities. The meeting concluded with a consensus to update elective course packages, create university–industry shared workspaces, and systematically feed back into the MÜDEK process.
